| Female alpacas in their pasture |

Once in a while, as alpaca breeders, we find ourselves in need of reducing our herd size. This may occur due to a number of reasons. Some of the animals may not meet desired qualities(mainly color) or there might be a blood line dominance in the herd restricting our breeding options. We may also be in the process of upgrading our foundation herd in order to continue the improvement upon our herd stock. That does not mean that these alpacas are of lesser quality or value. On the contrary! In fact, some of them are of equal or greater value and quality with excellent bloodlines to those we choose to keep. Some of the alpacas included in the Herd Reduction Sale, have produced the desired cria?s we wanted and we have chosen to offer them to other breeders. After many years of breeding alpacas we have decided that we should pass on the alpacas we have either produced or have used to produce the outstanding alpacas on our farm. We have the ability provide you with the choice of starting your herd or adding to it. Many of the alpacas listed in our Herd Reduction Sale have several generations and/or siblings on our farm to show the longevity and quality our foundation herd has to offered...
That being said, we've picked out some of our solid breeding-quality alpacas and listed them in our Herd Reduction Sale with a value added price reduction to motivate sales to potentially interested buyers at a price that is agreeable for both parties.
To view our fine selection of "Herd Reduction Sale" alpacas, please choose a category...
